Description

[Machine Translation] Tiny Tones" is the long-awaited first album by jazz guitarist Yukito Shimizu, featuring eight original compositions. Shimizu's clear guitar tone, delicate touch, horn-like improvisation lines, piano-like harmonies, and excellent interplay attract not only jazz guitar fans but also many listeners. The quartet consists of guitar, saxophone, drums, and bass, and all of the songs on this album are Shimizu's original compositions. The lyrical compositions, which emphasize melody, evoke a sense of nostalgia. The trio performance of "The Bridge" (M1), the lighthearted 4-beat "Ritz" (M4), and the avant-garde approach of "The Rumbler" (M6) round out the diverse lineup.
