Thus Have I Heard

[Machine Translation] Fuse Ondo Trio's long-awaited second album. The sound scroll is created by playing what each member hears at the time on the theme of landscapes and religious notions. Like their previous album "Isolated" (released on March 3, 2024), all of the songs on this second album are original compositions by Fuse, but each piece is more thematically composed than the previous one, inspired by landscapes and religious ideas. The continuity of the songs throughout the album is also more consciously considered. Thus Have I Heard" is the English translation of the phrase "Thus Have I Heard," which is found at the beginning of Chinese Buddhist scriptures. All works are an expression of the world as seen by the creator. Therefore, the phrase "what I heard at the time" is of utmost importance. The trio has been performing together continuously since the end of 2020, and in recent years they have had many opportunities to perform not only as a trio, but also with a variety of other fronts. In addition, the rhythm section of Kaito Nakamura's second album "Invisible Diary" (released on March 3, 2025) is also composed of the same members. The CD also includes a 20-page booklet with the album title "Thus Have I Heard" and an essay on the thoughts behind each song, along with photos of the scenery taken by Fuse himself. The CD also includes a 20-page booklet with the album title "Thus Have I Heard" and an essay about his thoughts on each song, along with landscape photographs taken by Fuse himself.

「Thus Have I Heard」とは、漢訳仏教経典の冒頭に置かれるフレーズ「如是我聞」の英訳であり、「私はこのように聞きました」という意味。
