Description

First DVD release from anime series "Blue Dragon," based off of the hit Xbox360 game of the same name. Many years ago light and dark fought against each other in an epic battle. Thanks to the power of the seven soldiers of light, the darkness was sealed into one place, thus establishing the place of these brave soldiers in the mythology of the land. But according to one passage in the story, the soldiers also bore the power of darkeness alongside light, allowing them to cary on after death by passing their powers onto other while never themselves appearing on the stage. So begins the story of Zora and Nene, two people in the modern world who awaken to the power of darkness, setting the world aflame once again with the epic battle of years past. Includes four episodes.

制作総指揮&シナリオ・坂口博信。キャラクターデザイン鳥山明。音楽・植松伸夫。豪華スタッフで製作されたXbox360用ソフト「BLUE DRAGON」ついにアニメ化、DVD第1巻。遥か昔、光と影の勢力同士による争いがあった。その戦争は7人の光の戦士によって治められ、影の勢力は一箇所に封印されたという。これは世界を救った戦士達の神話。はじまりの書」と呼ばれる世界最古の本に綴られたほんの一部の物語である。彼らは光の戦士と呼ばれながら影の能力を持ち、その死後も能力は人々の中に受け継がれながら、表に出ることはなかった。しかし現在、ゾラとネネ、この二人に影の能力が目覚めたことによって、世界に再び混乱が訪れようとしていた。影の力を利用し、世界支配に乗り出すグランキングダムの王、ネネ。その野望から世界を救うため、7人の光の戦士の末裔を探し出す旅に出たゾラ。二つの動きは、平和なタタの村で暮らすシュウとクルックをも巻き込んでいく。既に戦士の末裔の一人となるジーロを従えたゾラが村へ現れると、そこへネネの軍隊が襲い掛かる。戦いの中でブルードラゴンという影を発動させたシュウは、ゾラと共に旅をすることになる――。 4話収録。 8Pブックレット付き。
