Spring Has Come

[Machine Translation] SASAKLA (a.k.a. Shinsuke Sasakura), a singer-songwriter whose first album, produced by Soichiro Suzuki, was highly acclaimed in various fields in 2008, has released his long-awaited second full-length album. The band members are led by Hosono Haruo, a drummer who has created a sound that can be said to be a cornerstone of the Japanese music scene as a member of Tin Pan Alley, and the album also features guest musicians. The core band members include bassist Wataru Iga, who has played in Haruomi Hosono's and Gen Hoshino's bands, guitarist Katsuhiko Sato, who has supported Caravan, and keyboardist Mahito Fujiwara, who is also a member of World Standard. This rich interpretation of the acoustic sound will be accepted as a new sound not only by old-time music fans but also by younger audiences. In the current Japanese music scene, this singer-songwriter's presence is unique, and her music has a solitary yet open atmosphere. The singer-songwriter's name has been changed to "SASAKLA" and she has started her new album with a view to global development. The album contains 9 songs.
