Scream (2022) [Blu-ray + DVD]

[Machine Translation] The latest in the popular slasher horror series, which debuted at No. 1 in the U.S.! The "Scream" series, created by master horror director Wes Craven and screenwriter Kevin Williamson, returns to its roots with this new film, which bears the same title as the first one, for the first time in 10 years! Twenty-five years after the first film, the town of Woodsboro is once again the scene of a series of bizarre murders. This is the first time in the series' history that a new director has created a film that is neither a sequel nor a reboot, but a new film with new elements and fun that will please fans of the original. Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette return! Melissa Barrera, the much-heralded heroine of "In the Heights," gives an impassioned performance as the titular character, Sam! --A disturbing phone call comes to Tara, a teenager. When she answers, she hears a creepy man's voice inviting her to play a game. When she gets scared and opens the front door to go outside, a person wearing a ghost face mask is waiting for her, and Tara is slashed in the abdomen. The incident reveals that another serial killer is targeting the youth of Woodsboro. Dewey, a former sheriff, takes on Ghostface again, along with Sidney and Gail. Blu-ray + DVD set.
