This reissue takes us back to one of the most flawless and well-played concerts of the classic 1973 quartet (Fripp, Wetton, Bruford, Cross). It's the definitive presentation of the legendary 1973 Amsterdam Concertgebouw performance. The separation between John Wetton’s growling, overdriven bass structures and David Cross’s delicate violin counter-melodies is absolutely flawless. Bill Bruford’s intricate drumming hits with incredible dynamic snappiness. It provides an expansive, three-dimensional window into one of progressive rock's finest live hours.

Description
A definitive King Crimson live recording captured at the historic Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on November 23, 1973. This acclaimed live album, featuring overwhelming performances from the period when improvisation stood at the very core of the band's music, returns with an artwork magnet sheet. King Crimson made its comeback with the 1972 album "Larks' Tongues in Aspic." This classic live album was recorded during the making of "Starless and Bible Black," when the band was relentlessly touring and evolving into an improvisational powerhouse. Long treasured as one of the great live documents of 1973 King Crimson, it had circulated repeatedly as a bootleg since the analog era and has remained a bestseller even after its official release. This 2-disc SHM-CD edition, the second installment in the artwork-magnet bonus series, includes a 10cm x 10cm magnet sheet featuring the striking front cover artwork. Recorded at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on November 23, 1973.
