In The Wake Of Poseidon 50 50th Anniversary [SHM-CD + Blu-ray Audio] [Limited Edition] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] Customer Reviews

This reissue marks a triumphant rebirth of the band's sophomore effort. Steven Wilson’s mix sweeps away any vintage tape mud, granting “Pictures of a City” breathtaking dynamic range. The true highlight is David Singleton's stripped-back "Elemental Mix," which exposes the core structures before final studio layers. The acoustic work on “Peace” and the epic title-track mellotrons feel remarkably close and textured.

King Crimson is one of my favourites and top three. This is super album and sound is very good. I recommend to others as well.

I've had quite a few editions of this groundbreaking album, but this version is just perfect. Especially the Blu-Ray and the new 2025 mixes are excellent.

I just received this on 10/31. This is one of my favorite albums and a great remaster. Vocals are extremely clear and natural. The alternative versions are very unique and musical. Highly Recommended!
