"Duvet" perfectly sets the mood for the anime it opens 'Serial Experiments Lain.' If you like the song, go on and buy the single. The CD also contains another selection by BOA that I was not previously familiar with.

Really great cd plus comes in such a cute case. I've always liked DUVET from the first moment I heard it as the theme to Serial Experiments Lain but after i bought the cd found myself listen to DEEPLY alot since it a really good song too.
Quite possibly the most well-known and liked anime opening song ever. And not without reason. With a smooth, catchy beat despite the drum and guitar in the background, the vocals and lyrics really manage to emulate the core of "Lain" - it secretly draws you in making it addictive to listen to. The second song, Deeply, is more loud and rock like. Even though they're almost complete opposites they work well together. If Duvet is too slow for you then this is perfect. I marginally prefer this song over Duvet... but that'll change soon ^_^ Great for listening to anytime since they're both so diverse.
I first heard "Duvet" when watching Serial Experiments Lain and from the moment I heard it, I was in love. It took me a while, but I finally got around to buying the single. It was completely worth it. "Duvet" is even better in it's entirety and the b-side "Deeply", while not as good as "Duvet", is quite decent.
