Description in Japanese
[Blu-spec CD2] / TOTO

I used to own Hydra on vinyl back in the day & really thought it was an excellent album. During the early 1990's I got rid of all my scratched up records & switched exclusively to cds. I bought a cd version of Hydra & couldn't believe my ears when I listened, the cd version was lifeless and very dull sounding. Over the next 20 years or so I rarely reached for my Hydra cd because the sound was terrible. I saw that a blu spec cd2 version was available so I took a chance that the sonics were going to be improved & WOW, what an amazing listening experience! Most people or fans of Toto are aware that these guys are supremely talented musicians & it really shows on this BS cd2. I was blown away by the sounds coming from my headphones, Hydra is now in heavy rotation on my Oppo BDP 105 & this is how Hydra was meant to be heard!! If you are a fan of Toto or just appreciate top quality musicianship I couldn't recommend this release more highly. Five+++++++++ stars!!!! I hope all the other Toto BS cd2 releases are this good, I m going to get Toto IV next. ROCK ON!!!
