ヨーコ・オノ『地獄の果てまで連れてって』以来5年ぶりのニュー・アルバム。生誕85周年となるこの年、"今だからこそ"再び全世界へ問うメッセージ。新作は1970年から2009年までの楽曲から彼女自身が13曲選び、新たな解釈で新たにレコーディング。その歌詞やメッセージは今もなお不変的であり、2018年の今の方がより一層適切さを増している。1973年にニクソン批判した「ウーマン・パワー」は今、どこかの大統領へ向けて痛烈な批判を込めて歌われ、「ナウ・オア・ネヴァー」では＜独りで見る夢はただの夢に過ぎない。だけど私たちが一緒に見る夢は現実である＞と再び語りかける。そして、ジョン・レノンとの共作「イマジン」の新ヴァージョンも誕生。今だからこそやらねばならなかった彼女の叫び。日本のみのボーナストラックには「ミッドサマー・ニューヨーク」の2018年ミックス別ヴァージョン (バックはジョン・レノン(G)/クラウス・フォアマン(B)/ジム・ケルトナー(Drs))を収録。
