Description

[Machine Translation] This is the first album by Kim Won Song, a guitarist and composer who has been creating his own original music through supporting jazz vocalist Karen Aoki, providing songs, and working with various musicians in the jazz and Brazilian music scene in Tokyo. His guitar playing and original compositions are a blend of native Brazilian grooves praised by Brazilian music treasure Toninho Horta, contemporary jazz idioms and harmonies, and soft, prayerful singing. He sings softly, as if he were praying, and his own voice is woven into his unique style, making his music sound fresh and full of originality. The album features eight songs, including instrumentals with young jazz musicians representing the new era in Tokyo such as Rei Yamada (ds) and Daisuke Toyi (b), and an original Brazilian-style song "We Are" co-written with Karen Aoki, along with Kim's own band.
Note: This is an import edition (manufactured outside of Japan).
