Description

"The Apothecary Diaries" returns for its long-awaited third anime season. Blu-ray Volume 1 is being released. With the aftermath of the Shi clan's rebellion settled, Maomao has returned to her everyday life as an apothecary in the pleasure district. One day, breakfast served at the Verdigris House gives Maomao a sense that "something is wrong", and she begins to investigate. Meanwhile, Jinshi has revealed his true status as the Emperor's younger brother and has begun facing the responsibilities that come with it. He is troubled by the "signs of a disaster that will strike the country" that Loulan entrusted to him at the very end. Rumors of a mysterious immortal woman who bewilders people also begin to spread, and a shadow once again falls over Li. The story's setting expands from the rear palace to the city and even to neighboring countries, with new trials awaiting Maomao and Jinshi. Includes episodes 49-54. [Audio Bonus] Details will be announced later. [Bonus Footage] A season 3 teaser promotional video, a season 3 main promotional video, a non-credit opening sequence, and a non-credit ending sequence.
