[Machine Translation] 65th Anniversary Special Project "Blue Note Definitive Edition! The second season of the 1500 series" 24-bit latest digital re-mastering. The extraordinary masterpiece that transcends the wackiness of organ jazz was born from the encounter between Larry Young, who is described as the "Coltrane of organ", and Blue Note. If Jimmy Smith is the "Charlie Parker of organ," Larry Young is the "John Coltrane of organ. If Jimmy Smith was to bop, Young explored the possibilities of new mainstream jazz on the organ and pushed the envelope even further. This album features the participation of his contemporaries Woody Shaw and Joe Henderson, and as the title of the album suggests, they express a new jazz style as a "unit. The fact that the drummer is Elvin Jones is also a decisive point. Moreover, a duet by Young and Elvin, "Monk's Dream" by Thelonious Monk, is included on the album. The famous "Fresh as the Morning Sun" is also fresh and still new.
