It really feels like this album is the most beautiful sound of the millennium from beginning to end, from timbre to melody to rhythm, everything is beautiful. Totally a first love album for the new millennium.

This is the beginning of Utada Hikaru's amazing legacy as a J-pop singer. She wrote the lyrics to all the songs herself, and they are wonderful. All the songs have an amazing R&B/pop sound to them, making the album a lot of fun to listen to. My favorites from this album are "Automatic," "First Love," "Amai Wana ~paint it, black~," and "Give Me A Reason." The remix of "Automatic" is also a lot of fun to dance to.

I love this album aswell. From her first to her last she has proven that having all of Hikki's albums was well worth it I have no complaints...

Hikki's first album is great, I mean, it's like the best debut album I have ever listened to. Although I prefer her recent works, this album has some kind of beat and style which can't be replaced by any of her other works. It's not just a must-buy to Utada's fans, but it's really essential to anybody who appreciates good and original music.

Hikaru first CD in Japanese, AWSOME. I have been waiting to buy this Cd. I am a fan, her fresh sound and musical talent impresses me in the midst of todays music, its a change to hear someone expressing independence and intelligence in their music. R&B comes though from what I guess is her American influence It all combines to make an excellent CD.

This was my very first Hikaru Utada CD. I decided to order it when my friend sent me her First Love single. I absolutely love it! Every Hikki fan should have it!

the first time i heard the song Automatic i fell in love with it! this is one of my favorite album of her. i love all the songs on it and i never grew tired of listening to it.
