Ultra Blue is a great album 5

This is one of Utada's greatest albums. This is Love starts off the album with it's keyboard introduction and Utada sings the song perfectly. The song however couldn't hold my attention Keep Tryin' starts off with a radio tuning sound and it kicks in with a magical melody and Utada starts the song off with "I don't care about anything" and the song is great Blue is a heavy experimental album and it's a great one, but it's a tad long Sunday Morning is a song that is quite catchy and talks about relaxing on weekends before Monday Making Love is a beautiful Album Only track that everyone can enjoy. When Someone's Wish Comes True is a beautiful and sad ballad, singing about how not everyone in the world can be happy. It's one of my favorite songs Colors is a unique track with beautiful lyrics that flow perfectly One Night Magic is one of Utada's collaborations, it's a nice track, but Utada steals most of the spotlight Kairo is a song that focuses more on the instrumentation, really boring. Wings is a wonderful and great song to listen to Be My Last is an excellent song, very sad with Utada's tone of voice Passion is a very heavy experimental track. Overall a wonderful buy

CAN'T MISS 5

Woah! This album is simply awesome! No one can't miss it! It's her best album after "First Love". Less R&B as previous album, she use more her keyboard in this album. The CD is beautiful. Just buy it!

ULTRA BLUE Review 5

Utada Hikaru strikes again in an album that shows her versatile musical style. There are a lot of good tracks on this album. My personal favorites are "Keep Tryn'" and "Passion," the second of which is the song used on Kingdom Hearts II. Although my Japanese isn't very good, the lyrics seem to be very positive and uplifting. Honestly, there are some tracks that I skip over at times, but I think that most people have their favorites and least favorites. I am sure that there is something for people of many different tastes, however. There are soft songs like "Nichiyou no Asa" (Sunday Morning) and even ones with an R&B/ near Hip-Hop feel, like "One Night Magic." Again, great album.

Utada Rocks! 5

Utada is one of the best female artists I've ever listened to and I think her voice even sounds original. As soon as she starts to sing you know it's her, and I like that about an artist :)

Hiki's Done It again 5

Although I didn't think this album was as good as Deep River this is still a great album for fan's of Hikaru Utada and J-Pop. Songs like Passion and Colors are definately two of her best. This is a great album to listen to if you need a boost or if it's a rainy day or something. I'd buy it before it goes out of print like so many of her other things.

Not liked, but LOVED!!!! 5

Hikaru has done it again. "Kairo" is such a good song, it really touched me. "Passion" is really a powerful song to me. Actually both of them are really powerful. Hikaru always does good with every song, but when she sung "Kairo" and "Passion", she really blew me away, especially with a very powerful and talented voice. Go HIKI!!!!

Wonderful! 5

I wasn't sure how I would feel with so many songs I had heard before but overall this album was superb! Hikaru sings ballads and uptempo music all very well here. My favorite track was probably the opening "This is Love" followed by the title track "Blue" which was a beautiful song. I highly recommend this album to any Utada Hikaru fans!

Utada Hikaru Does It Yet Again! 5

This album is a true delight. On this release, Utada Hikaru takes her electronic style to a whole new level. This album has a really "dreamy" vibe to it. in my opinion, Ultra Blue and Deep River are Utada Hikaru's best offerings.

Really nice album 5

This was my first Hikki album, and it was simply great. Not only I've loved every single song (Hikki has such a nice voice) but I've also loved the booklet it came with, which is of very high quality imho. Any Hikki fan or JPop fan should really consider to purchase this.

A bit of a new sound for Hikki 4

Many of the songs on this album have been heard throughout the past 4 years from various singles, with Passion featuring as Kingdom Heart II's theme track. While many of the songs are emotional, a few of them fall flat, and seem more like "forced" recordings. Nonetheless, the majority of the songs on this album are a great listen, and it's well worth the buy.

One of the best albums ever made... 5

Every song on this album is lovable!!! The booklet is gorgeous and the lyrics so deep -n- meaningful. So what it doesn't contain a DVD like most Japanese albums? It's well worth it. Utada Hikaru is a living masterpiece.

Great Tracks, awesome album! 5

This has got to be one of the better CDs that Utada released in a long time. I've never heard such wonderfully put together songs and lyrics and her vocals in this album are absolutely astonishing! I don't regret buying this CD and it is definitely a Utada-fan must-have!

extremely addicting 5

this album is sure heaven to the ears. by far, this is the most sophisticated album hikki made! pact with amazing maneuvers of her heavenly voice and addictive unique mellodies that is uniquely hers. here are things i can say about my favourite tracks. 'this is love' is a perfect example of an upbeat opening song. very contagious if you'd ask me. 'blue' combines both fast and slow mellodies. strong in many good ways. 'nichiyou no asa' is the feel-good song. brings in the mood to chill-out. similar to 'sunglass' from her distance album. 'dareka no nagai ga kanau koro' is the ballad song to fall in love with. splendid even if you dont understand a thing. (from the movie 'casshern') 'colors' is definitely amazing even if it was realised 3 years ago. one of the most unique songs hikki ever made in her entire career. a mixture of traditional and modern music. 'be my last' is simply beautiful. great vocals accompanied by a guitar. 'passion' is the ethereal song. can simply put you in a trance while listening to it. (kh 2's theme song) all in all, this album marks a step-up to her music, more unique than ever before.

Amazing! 5

I love this album so much! I can't stop listening to it, lol each time I say to myself, "Okay, Tammy that's enough," I go "okay, one last song!" lol her musical style in this album is amazing and beautiful, I liked when she was into the R&B stage, but hearing her like this.. She has really grown as an artist. I truly appreciate that, anyway, the album is great!!!!

Pure greatness. 5

This is love, I tell you. Utada Hikaru came back with an awesome album that'll blow you off your feet. Sure, her music had changed... but the quality is still there. In fact, I love this style even more than her previous. Every single song on this album is love. Even if it doesn't hook me at first listen, it did after a few more listens... and for good. I've been replaying "Blue" and "Making Love" for who knows how long already! I'm not disappointed at all by this album. In fact, I feel that she have outdid herself.

This is one of the best album I've listened to in my life, all the tracks are excellent in the quality and in the production, I miss a little her old R&B style but ''Ultra Blue'' in its style is wonderful.
