Based on the concept of "masterpieces I want to listen to on guitar," this album is an ambitious work that makes full use of every technique a guitarist can think of (tremolo, picking harmonics, mute, flamenco, percussive techniques, etc.). Paying homage to the UK, he has created incredible sounds with a single guitar, including works by Eric Clapton, Lennon & McCartney, and Ryuichi Sakamoto's "Merry Christmas in the Battlefield" and "Energy Flow". The "12 Songs for Guitar" by Toru Takemitsu, which he has been working on for some time, will be completed this time. Andrew York's "Sunburst" was re-recorded in its complete form with introduction. For The Beatles' "In My Life," the famous guitarist Yerlan Serchel provided his own arrangement for Kaori Muraji. From Bernstein's masterpiece "West Side Story," a medley of "I Feel Pretty," "Maria," and "America" will be performed. This is a limited edition with SHM-CD and DVD.

ギタリストとしての全てを賭けて挑んだ、村治佳織 待望のソロ・アルバム!! 今作は、「ギターで聴きたい名曲たち」というコンセプトのもと、ギタリストとして考えられる、あらゆるテクニック(トレモロ、ピッキング・ハーモニクス、ミュート、フラメンコ、パーカッシブ奏法など)を駆使して挑んだ会心作。英国に敬意を表し、エリック・クラプトンとレノン&マッカートニーの各作品、坂本龍一の「戦場のメリークリスマス」「エナジー・フロー」など、ギター一本で信じられないサウンドを創出。以前から取り組んできた、武満徹の《ギターのための12の歌》は今回で完結。アンドリュー・ヨークの「サンバースト」は、イントロダクション付きの完全型で再録音。ビートルズの「イン・マイ・ライフ」では、名ギタリスト、イェラン・セルシェルが自身のアレンジを村治佳織に提供した。バーンスタインの名作《ウェスト・サイド・ストーリー》からは「アイ・フィール・プリティ」「マリア」「アメリカ」をメドレーで。来年2010年のショパン・イヤーを前に、夜想曲第2番も収録、等々、大変多彩な内容となっている。SHM-CD仕様+DVD付きの限定盤。
