Beverly Kenney made very few albums in her short career. This one, with accompaniment by the always-tasteful pianist Ellis Larkins, may be her best. She certainly gives Lee Wiley a run for the money on Victor Young's "A Woman's Intuition." Except for the baffling title, this album has everything going for it. If you don't know this singer, start here, then move to her album with guitarist Johnny Smith.
