As the title suggests, this 2013 release of The Temptation's All Directions by Universal Japan is simply Champagne for the price of Lemonade. I say this because the quality of mastering is superb with plenty of Dynamic Range, unlike many modern reissues that are compressed like it's 1999! I used the DR Database app to measure this and the scores are: Min: 10 Max: 15 Avg: 12 Fwiw, the track that scored 15 is the 12 minute whopper, Papa Was a Rolling Stone! I don't have much to say regarding the music because I really like it, but accept musical preferences are just that. I don't have to convince anyone they should like it, you either do or don't. My goal here is to confirm that the mastering for this release is 1st class as you'd expect from a release 'Mastered In Japan' and to say with the current exchange rates, you really can buy Champagne for the price of Lemonade :)
