Description
[Machine Translation] [Throwback Soul: Soul/Funk - Classic, Masterpiece, and Hard to Find New Jack Swing/Hip-Hop Soul Era: Neo Soul Vol.2] Renee and Gene met at Temple University and recorded "Hey Mr. D.J." with Michael Wykoff for the Flava Unit Compilation. After their hit "Hey Mr. D.J." with Michael Wykoff, they signed with Motown, and Kay Gee (Naughty by Nature), the producer of the song, produced most of their debut album. The album features not only hip-hop and soul tunes, but also excellent slow tunes that showcase the high level of musical expertise of the two musicians, who also play piano and strings on the album. Released: 1994 / Commentary included
