I remember when this album first came out I was so excited to get it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with it. It didn't reach the same level of quality that Hysteria had, but what could? In fairness, Mutt Lange and Steve Clark only worked on parts of this album, for very different reasons (RIP Steve), so the quality just wasn't going to be there. And I'm sure the loss of Steve Clark may have taken some of the band's focus away from being their best here, which is completely understandable. My favorite track is the epic White Lightning, a track that harkens back to the greatness of Gods of War from Hysteria. Tear it Down rocks, but was a B-side from Hysteria, so I had already heard that song. Let's Get Rocked is fun, but it's just Pour Some Sugar On Me Pt. II. Heaven is the only other song that really stands out to me. Overall, a disappointing album, but I still reach for it from time to time to hear White Lightning.
