Description

Dire Straits' catalog of six titles is being released simultaneously worldwide in cardboard sleeve jacket format. The band's 2nd album (released in 1979, reaching No. 5 in the UK and No. 11 in the US), produced by industry heavyweights Jerry Wexler and Barry Beckett. Filled with fine songs such as "Once Upon a Time in the West" and "Lady Writer," this album also marked the final recording with Mark Knopfler's younger brother David (g). Jacket is a miniature reproduction of the UK first-press LP. The reproduction obi strip is based on the design of the Japanese first-press LP obi. Comes with an inner sleeve. Liner notes. Lyrics and Japanese translations included. SHM-CD format. *Since this product goes on sale on a Friday, delivery will be on or after the release date.
