The original tape hiss is still present in the 4 K2HD remasters I bought. The volume level is louder, and the dynamic range is slightly better, but overall, the virtues of K2HD are not overwhelming in these rather high-priced remasters. I hope Shakatak can turn to SACD or DVD-Audio for true high resolution remasters in future.
