gong ,could be some kind of a cult progressive group ,lots of personal mutations took place starting around 69,till about 76..at this point the music created by daevid allen,had nothing to do with albums like shamal etc...anyhow if some new aprentice would like to start buying gong music ,than camambert electrique is the right choice..it is something special,consisting of dada music,a mixture between zappa ,electronic music,rock and jazz,...the atmosphere here is unique,and steve hillage the later guitar hero,is also present,the cover again is a work of art unfortunately the sound product has its weakness,but again for the real listener and true collector this is the right choice...the doctor
