Lou Reed's Berlin

[Machine Translation] A legend revived after 30 years of time - Julian Schnabel has recorded the complete overwhelming visual + sound + emotional experience. The birth of the ultimate rockumentary! In 1973, charismatic artist Lou Reed released Berlin, an album of immoral tales of love, drugs, and violence. Despite some critical acclaim, the album was a commercial failure, and Lou Reed himself never performed any of the songs from "Berlin" on stage again. However, in 2006, in the dead of winter in New York City, 33 years later, the legend was recreated! Over the course of five days, Lou Reed performed "Berlin" live in its entirety. Julian Schnabel, acclaimed not only as a painter but also as a filmmaker and winner of the Best Director Award at the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Globe Award for "The Diving Suit Dreams of a Butterfly", created the stage set to recreate his unique world. Julian Schnabel, acclaimed filmmaker and winner of the Best Director Award at the Nu Skin Film Festival and the Golden Globe Awards, was in charge of the stage set and captured the live performance on camera. Outer case, digipak, booklet included.
