Chihayafuru -Meguri-

"Chihayafuru -Meguri-" is released on DVD. Feelings come full circle and transcend time. A new chapter of "Chihayafuru" begins. Based on the blockbuster manga "Chihayafuru", which depicts high school students devoting their youth to competitive karuta and has surpassed a cumulative circulation of 29 million copies, this new work opens a fresh chapter in the series. In 2016 and 2018, the manga was adapted into a live-action film trilogy, launched the careers of many popular actors, and was praised as a landmark of youth cinema. Now, ten years after the events of the film "Chihayafuru", the production of an original story has been decided, to be woven together with the original author, Yuki Suetsugu. The overflowing passion does not fade, but is passed on to a new generation. High school students of the Reiwa era, who have inherited the baton, throw their entire youth into competitive karuta. Video bonuses include a making-of feature and an interview collection, with the interview collection featuring cast interviews with 16 actors playing student roles from Umezono, Mizusawa, and Hokuo. Includes a booklet.
