The TV anime series was broadcast in 1982 and stood at the center of the second magical girl boom of the 1980s. OVAs and a second TV series were produced afterward as well. This November it was also announced that an all-new OVA, the first in 32 years, has been set for a theatrical screening, and this popular title is drawing attention once again. Three albums related to the first Minky Momo - "Someday My Prince Will Come" (TV soundtrack), "I'll See You In My Dreams" (drama edition), and "La Ronde in my Dream" (OVA soundtrack) - were released in 1999 as a 2-CD set under the name "VICTOR ANIME TWIN SERIES".
