HASHIMERO's first full album is a culmination work containing a total of 26 tracks, mainly consisting of songs released from the indie period through after his major debut. While tracing his journey so far, the album reconstructs both old and new songs as if sealing them in a "vacuum pack," delivering them in a fresh form through the breath of HASHIMERO in the present. The title "aero" reflects the wish that HASHIMERO's music blends into listeners' daily lives and exists as something natural and familiar like air. It includes "Tokihanate!" as the opening theme for the second cour of the TV anime "Witch Watch" and "yosumi" as the opening theme for the MBS drama "Ayaka-chan wa Hiroko Senpai ni Koishiteru 2nd Stage." With content enjoyable for anime and drama fans as well as music fans, this album condenses HASHIMERO's current position and new appeal together with a fresh selection of songs.

SSW・はしメロが届ける初のフルアルバムは、インディーズ期からメジャーデビュー以降に発表してきた楽曲を中心に、全26曲を収録した集大成的作品。これまでの歩みを辿りながらも、"いま"のはしメロの息遣いを通して、新旧の楽曲を"真空パック"の中に閉じ込めるように再構築し、新鮮な形で届けることをテーマとしている。タイトルの『aero』には、はしメロの音楽がリスナーの日常に溶け込み、"空気"のように自然で身近な存在であってほしいという願いも込められている。TVアニメ『ウィッチウォッチ』第2クールオープニングテーマ「ときはなて! 」、MBSドラマフィル「彩香ちゃんは弘子先輩に恋してる 2nd Stage」オープニング主題歌「yosumi」も収録。アニメ・ドラマファンから音楽ファンまで幅広く楽しめる内容となっており、鮮度を保った楽曲群とともに、SSW・はしメロの現在地と新たな魅力が凝縮された一作に仕上がっている。
