Description

[Machine Translation] The shocking debut album by Margret, vocalist of Com Voce, which was also included in the Toru Hashimoto-supervised compilation "Music in the Landscape: From Autumn to Winter"! The sound is sophisticated, like a 21st century version of the A&M sound. The sound is fresh, with a touch of folktronica and a subtractive aesthetic of bossa nova. The sound of Daniel Lanois and Margret's whispy voice like an ennui-like Norah Jones are superb! The songs include Pat Metheny, Caetano Veloso, Rufus Wainwright, A.C. Jobim, Art Lindsay, and others, and the selection is stylish. The members include Antonio Sanchez (ds), who also played in Pat Metheny's group, Scott Corey (b), and Ben Monder (g), all of whom are excellent musicians from New York.
