The soundtrack for 'Back Dancers!' contains a nice mix of j-pop songs from various artists (like Koda Kumi and m-flo) and covers both, new and classic songs. All tracks are, like the movie title already suggests, danceable and simply enjoyable to listen to. This soundtrack is certainly a good addition to any collection.

This is the soundtrack to the film, with music of all the girls performances. If you liked the music they played in the film then you want this soundtrack. The best part is when the ex-boyfriends (you'd know if you saw the film) sing thier song "Since I've Been Loving You"

What can I say without giving away any of this movie? Well, it was great! Superb plot and cast. It's such a great movie to have in any collection!

The movie has multiple story lines that will eventually connect as the movie moves along. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. The parts, for me, that steals the movie are the duck scenes and the bellboy trying to make-up to his girlfriend for wearing her underwear. Not to mention a Hotel Manager misunderstanding the word "stag(e) manager" when meeting his ex-wife. All in all there are a lot of scenes in this movie that really do not need translation. A great movie to watch over and over again.

Fascinating! Marvelous! Wonderful! Captivating! I cannot understand Japanese language, but every action told the whole emotionally stirring story. One of a kind film. Everyone should own this dvd! Perfection of acting and strong emotions.

This movie was truly something to behold. I never took Tegoshi Yuya seriously as an actor (come on, the kid's a boybander), but this movie changed my mind entirely. There were some slow parts (particularly in the first half) but the flow was overall good. The script is fantastic and it was filmed wonderfully. Tegoshi has a ways to go before he's a truly excellent actor, but he definitely will be getting there. I was very impressed by the amount of sensitivity he displayed for the material.

I wasn't too sure about this film when I first saw it. Thought maybe a bit too slapstick, but I have to say given another airing this really is a warm hearted lovely film. The more I watch (and now I have watched it so much I'm in fear of needing a new copy! the more I like it. It has some great characters and you just want Jinta to come out on top.

OH GOD. I haven't seen the movie yet, but this soundtrack is absolutely AMAZING. It's dark and creepy and always makes my skin crawl... UGH! I LOVE IT.

This movie follows the lives of a group of people who work at a hotel on New Year's Eve. Things turn chaotic as it gets closer to midnight and each of the employees have to struggle with the hotel's and their own problems. I thought it was a very funny movie. I especially liked the way the story was told as there was a LOT going on. The director and cast did a great job. With some nifty camera work, some of the scenes lasted over 4 minutes without cutting, which I thought was very impressive.

Excellant sound for the movie, Kenji Kawai has once again prven he is an amazing composer. I haven't heard to much of his work, but this is by far some of my favorite.

Everyone get old. But getting old, not thinking. 4 old man in this movie want always their life exciting. These old man retire with a handsome competence in a high-classan asylum for the aged, so they can enjoy life as compared their age. But everyday is so tired, just waiting death. They enjoy their life to take extreme action after one friend in asyum taking happy death. In this event, their life getting thrill. Their behavior seems to be extreme, but feel touching. This movie show that life is so beautiful regardless of age.

Don't miss your chance to see Tegoshi Yuya from NEWS and his talents to act!!! This film was a GREAT movie to watch! the storyline makes us think that did we did believe in GOD and the scenery was AWESOME!!! SABU-san makes this movie looks like an interesting movie to watch! the camera technics and chreography was really really caught my eyes! The music background was sugoi!!!^__^ plus with the hidden footage, you can't NEVER miss it if you're a fans of Tegoshi Yuya!!!! the booklet contains the screen caps from the movie and also from the Montreal, the Japan Premier for this movie and others.... A MUST HAVE!! definitely! *two thumbs up*

Five stars for those gorgeous K9 heroes! My heart goes out to those poor, precious animals left to die, all because equipment is considered more important than loving, loyal, four-legged souls. A concept I will never understand, especially since those animals are the very ones that saved the lives of the explorers. Where's the gratitude?!!! The love the explorers showed for their dogs was very touching, but even there, I felt that they should have stayed with the dogs until they were sure another team would show, especially since the weather was so bad and things were being handled so much more differently than usual... but having failed doing that, they should have, at the very least, attempted to return immediately, with continued and absolute persistence... They should have at least tried! If it were their children that were stranded, you know they would have found a way; they would have done whatever it took. You never leave a man -- or dog -- behind (especially when you brought them there and they saved your life!). Do see this movie. These dogs story needs to be told, so that their deaths are never, ever in vain and such tragedy is never allowed to ever happen again.

After watching the film a while ago, I was amazed at how they worked the music into the film, they syncronised everything so beautifully. I had to listen to the music, and although the soundtrack is more difficult for a westner like me to listen to, it is a beautiful alabum, with some great hautning music.

This is a sad but beautiful movie. If you have a chance to watch TV episodes first (like me) you'll be a little bit disappointed, cause, TV can show more details about characters and creates others parallels stories through the main one. Anyway, both stories from TV and movie are beautiful but with some differences. Due to time limit, movie story runs faster and some things cannot be understandable, but, we have some surprises in the end, no doubt about that. I watched it twice and cried both times .. This may not happen to anybody but.. after watching this movie, you notice that life goes by so fast and we should share our feelings and take care of something or someone that we love .. as I heard from greatest F1 driver Ayrton Senna once .. "Life is too short to make enemies", so, let's live as happy as we can. Recommended !! First buy at CD JAPAN, DVD arrived on time in perfect conditions and I'm far away from JAPAN !!! Bye !!

That's the first movie created by Koki Mitani I've ever seen and I completely understand why he's so renowned in his country. "University of Laughs" is a movie that will both make you laugh 'till death and touch your heart.

This title is an extremely beautiful feature which calls for patience in its audience -- like most truely "Japanese" films. The long take aesthetic and fairly static cameras give this film a air of wonderment and the exemplifies the famous Japanese notion of "mono no aware."

This is a lovely story of a young girl beautiful played by Rena Tanaka; who goes on a quest after finding something in her mother's music box. It's a sad but light hearted film about past, present and future love. There are also some very funny scenes with Hiro Sanada. A very enjoyable film.
