"Kuniko Kara Hajimaru Hanashi" (Movie)

The latest work in the "truly scary" mockumentary series! News footage reporting the death of a girl gradually becomes distorted... Due to its unsettling nature, "Kuniko" has been called "the scariest horror footage." It was one of the videos included in the previously released paranormal documentary "Shi Gazo." "Shi Gazo" ended after one volume due to a serious staff accident and poor sales, but later gained a cult following. Then, in 2026, a film inspired by "Kuniko" was created. Directed by Hiroki Iwasawa of "Honto ni Atta! Noroi no Video" (1999-), "Kidan Hyakkei" (2016), and "Hosokyoku ni Todoita Aru Eizo" (aired in 2026). A new kind of nonlinear horror in which numerous pieces of horror footage appear in irregular succession and eventually connect into one. - A woman armed with a knife breaks into the production office of a paranormal documentary. The woman, who causes an employee to be injured, claims her purpose is "to save humanity." Apparently, she blindly believed in a conspiracy theory that "humanity will perish unless a certain videotape is returned to its proper place." The interview team identifies the man who had been spreading the conspiracy theory online. When they speak with him, he says the video was once submitted to "Shi Gazo" and is horror footage even more terrifying than the infamous "Kuniko." The interview team digs up the video and sets out to uncover the true identity of what appears in the footage. However, it turns out to be the entrance to an exitless labyrinth where countless pieces of horror footage writhe... Bonus footage includes a trailer.

「本当に怖い」モキュメンタリー最新作! 少女の死を報じるニュース映像が徐々に歪んでゆく・・・。その不穏さから「最恐の恐怖映像」と称される「クニコ」。かつて発売された心霊ドキュメンタリー『死画像』に収録された一本。『死画像』はスタッフの事故による大怪我や売り上げ不振により1巻で終了したが、その後カルト的な人気を誇る。そして2026年「クニコ」を起点にした映画が生み出された。監督は『ほんとにあった! 呪いのビデオ』(1999年～)、『鬼談百景』(2016年)、『放送局に届いたある映像』(2026年放送)の岩澤宏樹。いくつもの恐怖映像が不規則に連続して、やがてひとつにつながってゆく、新感覚の≪非線形≫ホラー。──心霊ドキュメンタリーの製作事務所に刃物を持った女が侵入する。従業員が負傷する事態を引き起こした女の目的は「人類を救う」こと。どうやら「あるビデオテープを正しい場所に戻さないと人類が滅びる」という陰謀論を妄信していたようだ。取材班はネット上で陰謀論を撒いていた男を特定。話を聞くと、そのビデオはかつて『死画像』へ投稿されたもので、かの「クニコ」を超える恐怖映像だという。取材班はビデオを発掘し、映像に映っているものの正体を突き止めようと動く。しかしそれは数多の恐怖映像がうごめく、出口なき迷宮への入り口だった・・・。映像特典には予告編を収録。
