2024年9月にオリジナル・アルバム『しゅーしゃいん』、2025年6月にカヴァー・アルバム『私の好きな労働歌』をリリースし、活発な活動を展開している寺尾紗穂。それら寺尾作品にも関わり、細野晴臣を始めとし、吉澤嘉代子、持田香織などさまざまなアーティストのサポートを務めてきたベーシスト、伊賀航。音楽家でありながらヒーラーでもあり日本各地を巡って人々の心と体を施術しているドラマー、あだち麗三郎。「冬にわかれて」は、2018年にファースト・アルバム『なんにもいらない』をリリース以降コンスタントに作品を発表、昨年2025年6月には大阪・南港サンセットホール、10月には東京・Hakuju Hall でのコンサートを札止め、このたび満を持しての4作目をリリース。今回は、作詞・作曲・演奏だけでなく、録音の一部とミックスも伊賀とあだちが担当。この三人でしか鳴らし得ない美しく淡くそしてカラフルな音像が、空間の隅々、減衰の先々まで響き渡り、オリジナリティ溢れる音楽活動を展開している池田若菜 (flute)、細井徳太郎 (Guitar)もゲストとして独自の音色を添えてくれている。アルバムに先駆けて4月1日に先行配信するシングル第一弾「君の旅」は、若くして自分の死を見つめざるをえなかった古今の人々の"生"を想いつくられた寺尾の作。4月22日にリリース予定の第二弾は、若手ながら批判精神に富んだ絶妙なリリックで知られるシンガーソングライターMomによる"忘却の夜行列車"を描く詞と伊賀作曲の「ペパーミント・タイムズ」。いずれもアルバムタイトル『forgotten』へと繋がる世界観を色濃く映した楽曲達。この三人で共に音楽を作ること、について尋ねてみると・・・。「なぜ一緒にやっているかというと、アルバム一枚のなかに多様なものを共存させたいと思っているからで、苦労の甲斐あり、その目的は達成できてるのかなと思います。バンドは小さな共生社会ですね」 (寺尾)「違った感覚の二人の感じ取っている"言葉にならない何か"を、自分の中に少しずつ吸収してゆく作業があって、自分の認知の世界が広がる。それが楽しい」 (あだち)「自分の怠惰を正してもらえる」 (伊賀) 三者三様、感性の違いが幾重にも織りなし混ざり合う音世界が「冬にわかれて」の真骨頂。2026年という混迷の時代に産み落とされたひとつの共生の在り方、存分にお楽しみください。
