In the beginning I didn't consider to purchase this brush since the ferrule from the photo looks quite thin, and I'm personally more in favor round & thick brush. But after starting to use it, I found it can also provide good application for the loose podwer. I also use it to buff after the loose powder application. The bristle is very soft, very comfortable when using on the face. Though I try to use it to apply setting powder in summber time and I don't meet any issue, I will more recommand to use it in winter when it won't require to apply so much setting powder, the effect of using such soft squirrel hair might be better.
