Six specialists from around the world gather and risk their lives on a mysterious mission. They were called "RONIN." Former spies left without organizations after the end of the Cold War and now working as freelance operatives engage in a fierce struggle over a mysterious briefcase amid betrayal and conspiracy in this suspense action film. Directed by master filmmaker John Frankenheimer of "Grand Prix" (1966) and "Black Sunday" (1977), the film became a major topic for the lavish co-starring of Robert De Niro and Jean Reno, as well as its realistic, CG-free car chases. Their mission is to steal a "mysterious briefcase" protected by tight security. Without knowing one another's true identities, they make a meticulous plan and brilliantly attack the target convoy in Nice, southern France, where the case is being transported.
