Samson's "Shock Tactics" is considered a milestone of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM), as it marks the band's third and final album with legendary vocalist Bruce Dickinson before his move to Iron Maiden. The Sound is Great from this Japan SHM-CD

Teutonic Titans 1976–2026" by Accept celebrates 50 years of the band with 19 re-recorded classics and 50+ guest stars [Napalm Records]. • Sound: A very modern, heavy production by Chris "Zeus" Harris. • Highlights: Even for non-fans, tracks like the hidden gem "Wrong Is Right" or the unique cover of "Love Child" by Billy Corgan sound fantastic. Bobby Blitz sounds amazingly close to Udo Dirkschneider, Chuck Billy delivers great classic metal vocals, and Chris Jericho rounds out the star guest list. • Verdict: The perfect, highly diverse entry point for newcomers and a great tribute to the band's golden 1980–1989

This 50th Anniversary super-box set offers the ultimate deep dive into the 1973 masterpiece. The crown jewel here is Steven Wilson’s breathtaking 2023 mixes. Across the CDs and Blu-ray, the music gains incredible spatial separation: Jamie Muir's eccentric percussion envelops the room, while Bill Bruford's drumming and John Wetton's driving bass form an impenetrable wall of sound. The resolution of raw studio session takes is startlingly realistic, placing you right inside Command Studios.

The remaster of Metallica – ReLoad offers significant sonic improvements compared to the 1997 original, featuring a punchier and clearer sound. While standout tracks like Fuel and The Memory Remains benefit greatly from the overhaul, the album still suffers from its well-known filler material in the second half. For collectors and audiophiles, the upgrade is well worth it due to the enhanced audio quality, though it won't change the minds of those who were already skeptical of the songwriting

One of the finest hour of brasilian prog rock beautiful presented in mini lp cardboard style with obi strip.

This massive three-disc set under compiles pristine 2016 European captures along with exclusive 2015 Tokyo tracks. The Japanese SHM-CD manufacturing brings out incredible macro-dynamics—expertly balancing Tony Levin’s growling low-end, Mel Collins' expressive woodwinds, and Fripp's razor-sharp guitar textures. The live rendition of “Fracture” is a jaw-dropping standout on this release. It perfectly translates the natural ambiance of the concert halls, delivering an immersive live experience.

This double CD captures the colossal eight-piece lineup during their iconic night at the Chicago Theatre, marking the return of Bill Rieflin. The crown jewel here is the inclusion of the “Lizard” suite excerpts (“Dawn Song”, “The Last Battle”, “Prince Rupert's Lament”). This Japanese press fixes original mixing limitations, pushing Fripp’s emotional guitar solo on “Lizard” right to the front with breathtaking clarity. Aggressive, heavy, and meticulously balanced, it stands as a mandatory masterpiece for audiophiles.

This Japanese reissue serves as a masterfully curated gateway into the band's shape-shifting eras. The SHM-CD formulation works wonders for a compilation, bridging the sonic gaps between 1969 psychedelic roots and 2000s industrial metal with seamless dynamic balancing. The soundstage is exceptionally deep and transparent, offering surgical separation on intricate tracks like “Discipline.” It is an outstanding release for both newcomers and seasoned collectors looking for a definitive, high-fidelity anthology wrapped in a gorgeous Mini-LP design.

Excellent sound quality and a wonderful performance by Schiff. The piano sounds clear and natural, with each keystroke beautifully captured. I’m not sure whether the CD’s green coating makes a difference, but the sound feels especially vivid to me. Schiff’s playing is expressive and refined, making Bach’s Goldberg Variations a pleasure to listen to.

Helen Merrill with Strings offers good sound quality and wonderful performances. To my ears, this SHM-CD sounds better than a standard CD, though I’m not sure how much of that comes from the SHM-CD format itself. Compared with the high-resolution digital version, it falls a little short. Overall, it is an enjoyable album, and I’m happy with this purchase.

If you are into Pearl Jam and Nirvana then you got to get this album. Lovley digipack package with obi strip.

Shed sevens debut album is an absolute gem of an album and sounds quite superb in SHM format. This album is rocky, broody and all the trademarks of a band wanting to make a big statement. The album starts with the brilliant dirty soul, brilliant guitar from Paul banks then on to the very catchy speakeasy, Rick Witter's vocals are superb throughout there are no fillers on this album, Casino girl and dolphin are massive tracks then the slow and quite superb ocean pie, the album ends with on an Island with you Shed sevens equivalent of the stone roses i am the resurrection in my opinion. This album is a must for all shed seven completists and anyone who like some of their brilliant singles over the years but has never listened to the debut go and get this. Since they reformed they have gone from strength to strength two number one albums.I have seen them live are they are brilliant, I hope my review helps.

Beautiful presented in digipack trifold edition with famous striking cover, sound is also great so do not hesitate.

Joe Henderson is one of my favourite jazzmen. Sidemen on this album include Lee Morgan, Bobby Hutcherson, and members of the Jazz Messengers. With players like that you know you can expect calibre.

If you are in search for best America's album and also best price search no more because you will get both in this edition.

This is one of the best Kiss releases ever! The Anaheim concert has always been a favourite amongst Kiss fans and now it has been officially released at last! This SHM CD is absolutely fantastic. Great sound, great book full of never seen before photos and to top it all off, a nice little poster. Brilliant!

excelente edicion de un clasico del heavy metal y a un buen precio, no lo dudes en comprar para tu coleccion

These are the songs we love from the 90s hard rock era of Metallica. This remaster is awesome and the live tracks sounds wonderful. Worth picking up!

What originally led me to listening to this album was hearing track 6, Ni Ting De Dao (Eng. I CAN HEAR IT) in a random video I saw unrelated to the singer. I absolutely loved the song and went looking to find where it came from. The song is beautiful and sweet, but the rest of this album.is fantastic as well. Such an amazingly talented artist with a unique sound. The MVs included on the bonus DVD are great too, and I even love the packaging design. Some nice photos in the booklet as well. Definitely recommended!!

Don't run from having this album in your muaic collection. When I first heard it AGES AGO I wasn't a fan at all of the opening title song but I've fallen in love with it since. So many great songs, but my favorite has to be no.4, which translates to Sunshine Nerd. Great fun song. It's got some really nice pictures and the design of the packaging is awesome too. Plus, I love the few MVs included on the bonus DVD as well.
