This is a classic album from the golden era of hard rock music. Melodic and groovy, this is a must for every hard rock lover. Brilliant!

There are very few recordings from that era of Kiss. Very good quality recording and the band sounds great. This is a must for every Kiss fan!

With these songs Tom Petty could do no wrong. He had one of the rock world's best backing bands and with the help of Jeff Lynne Tom gave us songs that many of us know by heart.

This sounds Incredible. The visual presentation of the packaging Is beautiful to view and the booklet is a great addition to enjoy while listening to this album. I’m glad I picked this up.

Morrisons earliest albums are still a joy to listen to. It's almost hard to believe that so many years have passed since Moondance. This one has a cover with pictures that really connect with the attitude of the music. This is where you definitely need the Mini-LP experience.

Fairport Convention peaked on this album. Richard Thompson and Sandy Denny combined ancient Britidh folk music with modern instruments without forcering the old traditions. Magnificent!

Sometimes I enjoy listening to extended melodic guitar solos. Most of all when two players are driving the song along by duelling. But there is also room for one guitar at a time. It all depends on the mood of the song. Nobody could do this better than The Allman Brothers Band. Eat A Peach is as good as Southern Rock gets.

Dire Straits were always great, soundwise. This is where it all started and the music is if course a pleasure to listen to. With SHM added this is in fact the only way to listen to Mark Knopfler and his band.

An excellent collection of these gifted musical personalities. It gives you a picture of what Rod Stewart, Ron Wood and Ronnie Lane were up to before they went on to greater fame.

Their best album? This shm-version is certainly unbeatable. It brings out all the details in by a very warm way...

This is my favourite version of another classic. The sound presentation brings out everything that makes this another cornerstone of any serious record collection. This is where the Rolling Stones' ramshackle attitude peaked.

Technically daunting, these recordings are uncannily accessible and there is something new to be discovered with each listen. Guitar virtuosity at it’s zenith.

There's a pleasant, relaxed, and cohesive feel about Tumbleweed Connection - it feels like a proper unified album. While the individual songs don't initially stand out, together they create a mood and ambience of easy-listening country and western music that is both relaxing and evocative.

This is where Linda Ronstadt and her producer found their winning formula. Both in terms of the choice of musicians and the variety of songs. Everything still sounds great and much is owed to the use of shm which fits this kind of music lika a glove.

Warren Zevon's debut in 1976 impressed everyone. The songs were great, Jackson Browne's production was powerful and the musicians were people like David Lindley. With the shm-format this music invites us to get even closer to what was happening in the recording studio. This is West Coast music at its best.

This album from the Rolling Stones still amazes. The year was 1978 and very few had the same musical attitude and the same creativity when it came to cover art. The enclosed lyrics are a big bonus if you want to dig deeper into what Mick Jagger is actually singing about...

We all have our favourite album by The Dire Straits. This is mine. Why? Because this is where the musical influences from the American South shines through. I hear Memphis, Nashville and New Orleans in Mark Knopfler's songwriting and production. More of the same came with Mark's soloalbums. Great stuff!

The Cars gave us a handfull of excellent and experimental pop music. This anthology actually succeeds in gathering most of the highlights from the individual albums. They don't make pop music like this anymore...don't let it pass you by.

Many discoveries can be made in reissue series featuring the shm-format. That's where I found a comprehensive anthology on Bread. This particilar Bread is no more but so many if their songs have that timeless quality. The sound of Bread is great!
