Sourced from a pristine soundboard master, the performance is highly notable for featuring rare live iterations of “Neurotica” and “Heartbeat”. King CrimsonThe King Crimson Collectors' Club: 1995-11-18 Palace Theatre, New Haven, CtKing CrimsonIndustrial Power: The US Tour PeakThis double CD transports the listener to the Fall US leg of the tour, recorded live in Connecticut. The New Haven show stands out for its fierce aggression and dense textures, catching the Double Trio lineup at a point of telepathic musical cohesion late in the year. Deliveries of “Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part Two” and a starkly industrial “Red” are executed with crushing weight.

King CrimsonThe King Crimson Collectors' Club: 1996-07-01 Shepherds Bush Empire, London, EnglandKing CrimsonLondon Finale: Farewell to an EraThis double CD captures the iconic Double Trio lineup at the absolute peak of their musical synergy right before their extended hiatus. The London show stands out for its monumental, tightly locked delivery; the twin-drum powerhouse of Bruford and Mastelotto drives “THRAK” and “Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part Two” into heavy, near-metal sonic territory.

Perfect Addiction (GUSH COMICS)Miyama Kaorukowhy not wrapped?I’ve only ordered books from here one time and it was a massive bundle where everything was wrapped up nicely, but for single books I figured they would have them wrapped in plastic or something… The book was opened and the inside was rubbing all over the dirty box (which for my germaphobia and odc was NOT nice to see). Just a little disappointed and I likely won’t buy books from here. I think cdjapan is better for things like cds and other merch, not so much books, especially when they wrap them all together instead of separately.

SPIN [CD+Blu-ray]KroiPerfect conditionThe album arrived smoothly and in perfect condition! It was wrapped in plastic securely, so I’m likely to buy another cd from here again!

Watanabe Mayu Sotsugyo Concert - Minna no Yume ga Kanaimasuyoni - [Shipping Within Japan Only]AKB48One of the best concert of AKB48Watanabe Mayu Graduation Concert ~ Everyone's Dream Come True ~ if certainly in the top 3 of all the AKB48's concerts released. But it will remain strictly off-limits to anyone outside of Japan. One really has to wonder why. It is completely insane to impose such a restriction. Those who have access to this concert should hold onto it—they are incredibly lucky. The funny thing is that you can find plenty of clips on YouTube—if not the full version itself—which is quite ironic! This restriction needs to be lifted.

The King Crimson Collectors' Club: 1981-04-30 Live At Moles Club, Bath, England
King CrimsonThe King Crimson Collectors' Club: 1981-04-30 Live At Moles Club, Bath, EnglandKing CrimsonA New Era: The Birth of DisciplineThis CD is an invaluable historical testament tracking the birth of '80s King Crimson. Performed at the cramped Moles Club before the release of the “Discipline” album, the quartet delivers their intricate new material with a raw, near-punk energy. Early working arrangements of “Thela Hun Ginjeet” and the title track sound considerably harsher and more experimental than their future studio counterparts. Sourced from a live cassette audience tape, the audio clarity is strictly archival and bootleg-like.

King CrimsonThe King Crimson Collectors' Club: 1981-11-05 The Savoy, First House, New York, NYKing CrimsonDiscipline in NY: The Savoy MagicThis double CD documents a pivotal milestone from the band's Fall 1981 US promotional tour. Performing the early set ("First House") at New York's iconic The Savoy, the reformed quartet displays a fierce, almost predatory level of musical concentration. The intricate material from the newly minted “Discipline” album feels remarkably dense and tightly locked. Highlights include a ferocious rendition of “Thela Hun Ginjeet” and the complex architecture of “Indiscipline,” pushed forward by Bill Bruford's aggressive, frantic polyrhythms.

King CrimsonThe King Crimson Collectors' Club: 1981-12-01 Commodore Ballroom, Vancouver, CanadaKing CrimsonDiscipline in Vancouver: 1981 Peak FormThis release documents the absolute pinnacle of the quartet's musical synergy at the very end of their 1981 North American run. The intricate material from “Discipline” is executed with a relentless, fierce drive. A high-tempo delivery of “Thela Hun Ginjeet” and a blistering “Indiscipline” showcase Bill Bruford performing at his polyrhythmic limits. The ultimate highlight is the pristine quality of the soundboard source.

The King Crimson Collectors' Club: 1984-06-26 The Pier, New York, NyKing CrimsonThe Pier Energy: The 80s Lineup FinaleThis double CD documents a rare performance from the final '80s North American promotional tour. Recorded live at an open pier venue in NYC, the show cracks with an incredible, high-potency energy that often rivals or exceeds the legendary “Absent Lovers” release. The setlist is highly notable for dynamic live deliveries of newly minted tracks like “Three of a Perfect Pair,” “Industry,” and “Dig Me”.

HORIZON 1 (YK Comics)Akiyama ShitenPhenomenal artworkI was happy to support this author for making sure his work was available for overseas readers. I'm still learning Japanese, so it'll take a bit to actually read it, but beautifully drawn art already has me sold enough to power through. If an English translation is on the Horizon (heh), I'm looking to grabbing it, too. This was the first time I ordered from this service and it got here in pristine condition, so I'm definitely gonna keep my eye out here from now on.
